Eltax speakers seem to be good value, obviously small cones without horn loading struggle to reproduce massively low bass. I have just Ebayed for a second pair of Eltax speakers, was impressed by the sound of the earlier ones I have but one has defective bass unit. I don’t play music loud too often… will repair the old pair soon. (went wrong in storage)
Im running a set of the liberty series i should upgrade but every time i go to they suprise me and i cant eltax are fantastic for the money
It’s not damaged, try that song at very high volume and you will prooly see the same thing.
I agree that they werent very expensive for what they present and how they sound.
Still like them and still have them as a mine speakers in my little sound system

I also own the Eltax Symphony 8.2 since a lot of years and I still like them very much. This speaker wasn`t too expensive, and to my big surprice they had been much better than a lot of other ones I was listning before I bought them. At the moment you can find a used pair on German Ebay (not my auction)
Yours got obviosly a problem, my speaker is not so much moving as yours does. Mine does even NOT move. Sure this one is damaged…

If You got room big enough for it and depand on deep bass without a subwoofer then they are just 4 You
Freq. response up to 28Hz is breathtaking. The quality is good enough but you may have feeling that there is a hole in the middle tones ;/ (Same speaker does the middle tones and secondone just the same does the bass…) It’s a 3way system.
im going to buy the 8.4 symphonys would you recommend eltax always used B&W in the past but not forking out 900 pounds for floorstanders
The amplifier is from 5.1 home cinema system – Yamaha RX-V596 so its only like 5x50Watt maybe thats why

Strange oscillations. Looks like the speaker is not manufactured for bassreflex box constructions.
