Question by Wishing for Nashville: What to wear to the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville?
I’m fifteen but I look like I’m 18. I want to have a good time. I’m from Canada. I’ve been horseback riding since I was 5, western of course! I’m pretty country. I want to look like a cowgirl…a real cowgirl going out for the night, not some tourist trying to pull it off with the complete wrong impression. What should I wear? I’m definately going to be out on the dance floor line dancing. I know I’m over thinking this. Any help is appreciated!

Thanks

The key is to not overdo it. Whenever I drive downtown, it’s really obvious who the tourists are because they stand out with their over-the-top cowboy getups (some are pretty funny looking, actually). Make it look natural. Since you horseback ride, don’t wear anything too different from what you wear when you ride your horse (and I don’t mean your show outfit). Jeans, simple boots (nothing fancy), a plain western hat, and some sort of country-looking top should be fine.
