Country Throwdown Tour Tickets ? Traveling Country Music Fest
If you aren’t able to catch the country’s biggest country musical festival in Indio this year, hit up the next best thing as the traveling country event Country Throwdown Tour visits several cities through the spring featuring Montgomery Gentry, Jamey Johnson, Little Big Town and Jack Ingram. The team is visiting 23 cities this year, opening up in the middle of May with a performance at Tampa’s Ford Amphitheater and closing at the end of June at Shoreline in Mountain View, Calif. With Country Throwdown Tour tickets already available from http://www.stubhub.com, what are you waiting for? Put on your country boots this season with some great acts today!
It is the first multi-stage traveling country fest from 4 FINI, Inc., the company that has brought North American punk fans the Vans Warped Tour for years, and fans can bet on a great time during Country Throwdown. Loading up the trucks with cowboy boots, big hats and classic guitars, the show will feature a slew of country acts that include headlining veterans and newcomers. Apart from Montgomery Gentry closing out the show as headliners, youngsters like Eric Church, the Eli Young Band, the Lost Trailers, Heidi Newfield, Ryan Bingham and the Dead Horses, Jonathan Singleton & the Grove and Emily West will perform over three days during the event.
4 FINI knows what they are doing, evident in the fact that they have paired with the legendary Nashville café the Bluebird. The Bluebird Café is a stomping ground for today’s hottest stars, many of whom first got their start on its small stages (including songwriter Garth Brooks). Another Bluebird tent will feature smaller traveling acts who are looking to get their starts, many of whom haven’t seen beyond their backyard in terms of promotion. One such act is the Eli Young Band, a group of artists that are eager to be paired with some country legends. “Being part of this tour is a very exciting prospect for us,” Mike Eli said in a press statement. “We’re excited about what [the organizers] are going to do with country music!”
Country Throwdown is bound to be an experience for the masses, involving one main stage as well as two smaller stages. Put together by professionals of the traveling festival, the show will expose country fans to a slew of new acts while they await some of their favorites. Take Montgomery Gentry, the tour’s headliners who are currently supporting the seventh album Freedom, released in March 2010. The album’s single “Oughta Be More Songs about That” premiered in November and peaked at the Top 40 of Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Chart. The tune, much like others, has helped keep this duo within the mainstream.
Another mainstream act includes Jamey Johnson, a true country lad who brings his music to all kinds of audiences; this year he is hitting up Bonnaroo, honored at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame and nominated for several CMT Music Awards. With a thick Southern drawl that brings the true meaning of country music into his catchy hits, Johnson continues to support the 2008 release That Lonesome Song. See all of your favorites and catch some new stars this year at Country Throwdown.
