Initially known as Minneapolis Symphony Orchestra, “Minnesota Orchestra Hall” was founded by Emil Oberhoffer in 1903. Its name was changed to the existing one in 1968 and the orchestra was brought to the University of Minnesota’s Minneapolis in the year of 1974.
